A revised Rule is approved

On the 5th of April, NAMS celebrated its first NOVENA (a global assembly of all the Companions and Sisters) online. The aim of this particular Novena was to approve the proposed revised NAMS Rule.

The revised Rule (Principles & Common Life - 2024) is the best effort that the Global Leadership Team, under the guidance of Servant Designate +Josep Rosello, and with the participation of all the Companions and Sisters, could put before the society to bring us even more firmly in line with that call.

During the Novena, our Servant General, Rev. Canon Dr Jon Shuler, reminded us that “NAMS was called into being when God placed in my heart: “There needs to be an Anglican Order of Church Planters.” That was in 1973.”

Bishop Rosello, the Servant Designate, led a Devotional Time based on Romans 1:5-7, reminding us about the high calling that we have received through Christ and that such calling is to serve the One who calls us.

The Novena was well attended by 24 Companions and Sisters from around the world, and the revised Rule was approved unanimously.
